I talked to Griz senior point guard Will Cherry today for his senior profile, which will run in Saturday’s Missoulian. He was sounding more optimistic about being able to return from the foot injury he suffered last week at Davidson.
“I’m able to walk on it without the boot around the house without being in pain,” Cherry said. “It’s the best it’s felt since the injury. I don’t want to jinx anything, but there’s still hopes for me to come back and finish this year.”
That would be great news for the Griz and their fans.
